Using activities that specifically appeal to children, adults can interact with children at their level through reading, creating, exploring and discussing topics that interest them

The interactive environment is designed so that it can be used regardless of each individual user's location or time zone.

It takes just three simple steps: Choose, Invite and Meet.

First, users choose an activities that would interest the children with whom they will interact.

Second, users invite children by selecting a date and time for their meeting. An email invitation with the designated date and time is sent to the child.

Last, the adult and child log in using their designated meeting code and meet on the site.

To help prepare for the meeting. the site offers adults tips. tools and information that the child does not see, including technical information and advice for successful meetings.

Within the interactive environment of the site. users can talk, read and play in real-time, just as though they were sitting together.

Because the site is a synchronic, or real-time, environment, users on different computers can simultaneously view and manipulate the site while seeing and hearing one another, The synchronic environment allows a grandparent and grandchild to read stories, play games and talk together in real-time.
